$7,500.00
That's how much Albert's Dog Lounge spends on average, EVERY MONTH, to cover the vet bills for the senior, special needs, and hospice dogs that we have saved from overcrowded shelters and local families who can no longer care for their pets.
Albert's Dog Lounge is the stepping stone to a new life for those dogs who are less likely to be rescued, adopted, or at a higher risk for euthanasia. Before they can take their first step though, there are medical exams, treatments, and procedures that must take place and costs that must be incurred.
Many of the costs include tumor removals, biopsies, senior bloodwork, enucleation (eye removal), heartworm treatment, and echocardiograms – just to name a few. These costs are all outside of the routine spay/neuter and vaccines that all dogs in rescue receive.
While Albert’s Dog Lounge adoption fee is only $250, ADL spends approximately $850 on each dog taken into our care. That means with each dog, Albert’s is about $600 in the red.
This is why Albert’s Dog Lounge has set a goal to raise $7,500 - a month's worth of vet bills - with the upcoming National House Pawty fundraiser from April 11th - April 18th. The fundraiser ends with the virtual PAWTY on Saturday, April 18th which will be fun for the whole family!
There are 3 easy ways you can help us reach our goal by Saturday, April 18th:
- Click on "Join Team" and become a fundraiser for the Albert's Dog Lounge Fundraising Team
- Click on "Donate" and make a donation directly to the Albert's Dog Lounge Fundraising Team
- Click on "Share" and spread the word to all of your friends, family, followers, and fans who would love to help save the lives of senior and special needs dogs!
Thank you for your steadfast support of Albert’s Dog Lounge and our mission! It is only because of generous people like you that Albert’s Dog Lounge has been able to change the lives of many senior and special needs dogs and will be able to do so for many months and years to come!
Gratefully yours,
The pups and people at Albert's Dog Lounge 🐶🐾😊❤
