As many of you know, helping homeless dogs and cats is my passion.   In my nearly 7 years of working at St. Louis County Animal Control, I saw many wonderful dogs and cats come through the doors that needed a fresh start--whether they were abandoned, lost and couldn't find their people, or their families had to devastatingly give them up for a variety of reasons.

St. Louis County SAVE is an all-volunteer nonprofit that helps these homeless dogs and cats find a safe place by raising funds for sponsorships, medical care that is beyond the limited budget of the government facility, by obtaining raised beds, toys, and treats for the pets, and by sponsoring spay/neuter surgeries in concert with other nonprofits to ensure there are less animals needing homes in the future.  Without this organization, I cannot even begin to imagine how many pets would have to be euthanized for issues that could be remedied.

Please support my Give STL Day fundraiser for St. Louis County SAVE so that more dogs and cats will have a chance at a new life.
